First a shout out to all the Lions who showed up to help make this Community Service project a
success, we managed to shred 6000 pounds of documents from the community avoiding identity theft
and keeping all that paper from the landfill. We also received $1285.00 in donations - for pediatric
cancer, and managed not to get wet from a rainey weekend. Not to miss all the Lion muscle power
used to unload the patrons cars and trucks a hearty THANK YOU A note of appreciation and thank you
to three Lions who used their personal vehicles for the success of this project. Floyed, who secured
from his employer cones and signs, and his motorhome canopy for cover from potential rain Lion
Wendy for filling her SUV and delivering all the food items collected and Lion Lee for collecting and
breaking down the mountain of cardboard this project generates.. And treasurer Barb and Bob for
handling incoming funds.
A very successful day! Here are some of the pictures of the event. See ALL of the pictures HERE.
