The Westminster Lions Club held two events at one time - Donation Night and Installation of Officers. It took place at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 467 in Westminster. The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by Lions District 22W Region IV Past District Governor Any DeMario.

Donations were made to Arc, the VFW, and Diabetes. Other awards given, but not at this meeting:: Special Olympics, the Westminster Fire Department, and to a local child with pediatric cancer.

Installed but not there - 2nd Vice President and Immediate Past President Jalna Brown, Tail Twister Wendy Beares.

Other Awards - our recepient of the "Melvin Jones Fellow" was Ted Burnette. We had two Lions of the Year - Bob Keefer and Kenny Carlisle. Appreciation awards were given to Lion Kathy Rixham and Lion Diana Fraser. Additionally, Lion Bob Keefer was recognized for his incredible 55 years of service as
a Lion and Lion Bob Hayes received his 15-year service award. Club Leadership award - Floyd Freyman.
