Guy Gary introduced District Governor Jeremy Bair joined our meeting this night, who talked about the "Promise of Tomorrow." Our goal is to get as many new members as we can. He aso presented many of our members with Awards that had been given out at the Change of Banner night, including:
" Club Service Coordinator Award - Lion Richard Hosfeld; " Club Marketing and Communications Award - Lion Kathy Rixham; " Club Secretary Award - Lion Susie Coursey;" Club Treasurer Award - Lion Barb Hayes; " Club Newsletter Editor Award - Lion Diana Fraser; " Club President's Award - Lion Jalna Brown; " 22W Feed the Hungry Program Award - Lion Ted Burnett; " 22W Reading Action Program Award - Lion Wendy Beares; " LCIF Award - Lion Bob Hayes.
The Vice District Governor's Challenge Award was also presented to the Club for successfully completing each of the VDG Challenges throughout the year.
Immediate Past President Jalna presented Lion Diana Fraser with PDG Nadja Muchow's Medal of Commendation for all of the grants she was able to obtain for the Club to help feed the hungry. This was quite an honor.
