He then introduced PDG Susan Bonura, who talked on the Lions Essay Contest. 2nd VDG Martin Bonura announced the Multiple District 22 Lions Leadership Institute at Camp Merrick in Nanjemoy, Maryland. Also, the current District Governor's Challenge is to provide support for childhood cancer. PID Dick Liebno spoke about the LVRF Shooting Event for on May 30, 2024. The cost is $300 for a team of 4. Also looking for sponsors at $100. Deer Park Lions Club is selling all their equipment if anyone is interested. Deer Park will hold their Cash Bingo on Saturday, October 21, and all money raised will go to the Veterans Care Package project and Veterans Independence Project of Carroll County. 1st VDG Susan Cox talked about membership. PDG Brian Cox said District 22W last year raised $67,834.15 for Leader Dog. Deer Park Lions Club raised the most.
