Westminster Lions club holds 83rd charter night

The Westminster Lions Club, which was chartered in 1940, celebrated its 83rd anniversary on December 14, 2023 at the Westminster Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 467.

Highlights of the evening included the re-dedication of the clubs charter by District Governor Jeremy Bair, and visits from Westminster Mayor Dr. Mona Becker, Sheriff Jim DeWeiss, and States Attorney Haven Shoemaker. The club welcomed new Lion Clifford Smith. Lion Kathy Giroux was presented with the Melvin Jones Award. And Lion Susie Coursey was presented the Knights of the Blind Pyramid award.
