A note of thanks for all the Lions that helped shred lots of stuff from the community. on a chilly and sometimes rainey Sat morning, I beleive about 15 Lions, also to iunclude Diana and Barb working behind the scenes to make this a success.
3 hours is longer than the past but it appeared to work out OK. We collected about the same amount of shred material and donation of funds were close to prior years. (Despite the chilly, wet weather, we managed to have a good turnout. There were 103 cars, we collected 243 items for the Veterans, and people donated a total of $1026!!) Our Club works like a well oiled machine on this project Lions just jump in and do what needs to be done.
These are events we all can be proud of our active Lions Club making a difference in the community.
