June 26, 2025

Congratulations to our 2025-2065 slate of officers and directors who were officially installed in their roles at our INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS and SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT on June 26. We also welcomed a new member.

The Westminster Lions Club meets the second and fourth Thursday each month at VFW Post 467. Those interested in becoming a member of the Westminster Lions club may visit our web site at: www.thewestminstserlionsclub.org for more information.

We welcomed Lion Joe Akers, into the club. Joe is an investment advisor at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company and a resident of Reisterstown. Please join me in extending the warmest of welcomes to Lion Joe! We're so glad to have you!

We also had the privilege of awarding scholarships to three deserving students: Lucy Duncan ($2,000), Winters Mill High School, Madeline Gassmann $2,000), Westminster High School, and Tara Martindale ($1,000), Caroll County Career and Technology Center. It's moments like these that truly highlight the impact we have in our community.
