Congratulations to our 2024-2025 slate of officers and directors who were officially installed in their roles at our INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS and DONATIONS NIGHT on June 27.
Congratulations also to our award recipients!
• Lion Barb Hayes was awarded Lion of the Year for her work as Club Treasurer and running successful fundraisers, including the Bingo and the Paint Party.
• Lion Lee Miller and Lion Wendy Beares were both honored with the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Lion Lee was recognized for serving two terms as President and for his leadership during the start of the Covid pandemic. Lion Wendy was honored for her efforts to serve the community, including volunteering at Carroll County Food Sunday, organizing the Steak Feed fundraisers, bringing in new members, and assisting District 22W in a variety of ways. The Melvin Jones Fellow Award is the highest honor in Lionism.
