The Westminster Lions Club collected new pillows and child-themed, twin-size bed sets, bedspreads, blankets, and pillowcases. These items were donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a non-profit dedicated to building beds for children in need. The organization helps ensure that kids don’t have to sleep on the floor.
Lion Barb Hayes chaired the collection of the items and Lion Wendy Beares delivered the itemsto them. This was a VDG Challenge. A tour was given to those who assisted at the donation drop off site. 11/9/24
